Looking for the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in the Midlands? Every December, the Town of Lexington transforms into a winter wonderland for its beloved Snowball Festival, and the 2025 celebration is shaping up to be the most festive one yet.

Whether you're a family searching for holiday magic, a local resident craving community spirit, or a newcomer wanting to experience Lexington at its best, this four-day festival brings everyone together in the heart of the season.

🎄 A Four-Day Celebration You Won’t Want to Miss

From December 4th–7th, Lexington invites you to gather, connect, and celebrate through a mix of crafts, carnival fun, holiday movies, and the ever-popular Christmas parade. Each day brings something new  and something magical.

✨ Thursday, December 4th – Craft Fair Kickoff

4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The festival begins with the Craft Fair, where local artisans showcase handmade treasures perfect for unique holiday gifts. From homemade candles to handcrafted ornaments, it’s a must-visit stop for anyone who loves supporting local creatives.

🎅 Friday, December 5th – Santa, Lights & a Christmas Classic

• Craft Fair: 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

• Pictures with Santa: 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

• Tree Lighting Ceremony: 6:30 p.m.

• Movie Night: The Polar Express at 7:30 p.m.

Friday is where the holiday magic really comes to life. Capture a memory with Santa, watch the town tree glow for the first time this season, and cozy up for a showing of The Polar Express under the stars. It’s everything warm and nostalgic rolled into one evening.

🎡 Saturday, December 6th – Family Fun Day

• Carnival: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

• Face Painting + Balloon Animals: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

• Pictures with Santa: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

• O’Hara’s Hot Chocolate & Cookies: 1:00 p.m. until gone

• Movie Night: The Santa Clause at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday brings the energy! From carnival rides to balloon animals and sweet treats courtesy of O’Hara’s, this is the perfect afternoon for families. End the day with a screening of The Santa Clause  a holiday favorite for all ages.

🎁 Sunday, December 7th – The Lexington Jaycees Parade

3:00 p.m.

The grand finale! The Lexington Jaycees Christmas Parade brings together floats, performers, local organizations, and festive cheer. It’s a tradition that fills Main Street with excitement and marks the official start to holiday celebrations.The Sherpa Group Team is joining the celebration and participating in the parade this year too. We can’t wait to see you there!
